Also, very related here….I wish I could comment on and/or like posts from others. I’ve pestered y’ll before, but can you PLEEEEEEEEEESE create a forum or Discord server for Lone Peak? (I know there is the FB group, but FB just doesn’t build community and conversation like a forum). Thanks for considering!

LOVE that you are developing this solution, and also agree on the $600 price point being a bit steep and if $400 were possible that would be amazing.

Here are a couple design questions & thoughts:

    1) can this be mounted on the sides, like where the gear boxes mount? I’d like the flexibility to not have it block the window that I paid extra for. Also the tank at the window would be right over my kid’s head where they sleep so I would like the flexibility to instead have it near the tailgate, where dishes are done and pots for cooking are also filled/cleaned.

    2) Like the idea of different sizes to help create different price points. I would guess, as a marketing strategy, that having multiple size options at different price points, might actually lead to more “premium” purchases.

    3) I’d love to see a black version that could somehow go on the exterior to take advantage of solar heating…Also in general having a black design instead of white would keep out any UV, which is of course what algae loves. In the hydroponics world, people try to keep UV light from getting access to the water source to minimize algae growth.

    4) would love to hear what type of plastic is being used so that people can make informed decisions about what material they are storing drinking water in.

Last,…just spit balling, and 100% a different product, but what if you had a tank that could mount on the roof, perhaps tucked under the beef bars (is the name)? if it was a very flat tank in depth, like 1-2" but wide in L and W, water could heat really quickly.

Stoked to follow the work in the Labs section!

I experienced the 10-gallon water tank firsthand at Mountain West, and I was truly impressed by its innovative design. I wholeheartedly support the views expressed about pricing. Lone Peak stood out to me above all others due to its affordability and diverse options. I believe it’s essential for Lone Peak to maintain its commitment to keeping prices accessible for everyone. This dedication to affordability is what truly distinguishes this remarkable brand from the rest.

What everyone else has already said about price is valid. I would just like to add, that I think you should bump the pump up to the next size. 1.2 gpm at 35 psi isn’t really good for much more than getting things wet. You need more pressure to be able to spray dirt/sand off of stuff, dogs, people, etc.
