What is a Lone Peak?

A Lone Peak Camper is a fully custom-built camper designed specifically for your vehicle's make, model, bed length, and generation. These campers are built to offer durability, functionality, and comfort, whether you're on the road or exploring the great outdoors..

How does customization work?

We offer a variety of customizable accesory options for both the exterior and interior of the camper, allowing you to tailor it to your specific needs and preferences. While the accessory options are customizable, their position in the design is set.

What makes your truck bed campers different from others on the market?

Our truck bed campers are built using high-quality materials, ensuring exceptional durability and versatility. What truly sets our campers apart is the unique designated pass-through space, offering unmatched convenience and functionality. When paired with our tent pop-out, the experience becomes even more extraordinary, providing nearly three times the cubic interior volume compared to traditional wedge-style campers. And let’s not forget the views, making your outdoor adventures even more memorable!

Here's out design philosiphy!

What types of trucks are compatible with your campers?

Our campers are designed to fit most mid to full-size truck beds, making them a perfect match for the majority of trucks on the road. However, we’re currently not compatible with 8' truck beds, Ridgeline, Rivian, Maverick, Cybertruck, Silverado EV, flatbeds, or Ram Box trucks.

Here’s a link to our comprehensive vehicle combpatibility list

Note: Don’t worry if your truck isn’t on this list! Simply measure your truck bed dimensions  using this link. We’d be happy to verify if we can make it work!

My vehicle is not listed on the website

  • Door & Roof Panels: 4mm thick panels with aluminum PVDF coating, commonly used in industrial buildings for superior strength and resilience.

  • Machined Corners: Precision-engineered for a perfect fit and added strength.

  • Weather-Resistant Materials: Ensures your camper performs well in all conditions.

We use these heavy-duty materials and construction techniques to ensure your camper is built to last and perform under various conditions.

How is it made?

Let's ask Kyle!

Can the campers be used in all weather conditions?

Yes! Our campers are built to withstand various weather conditions, from cold to intense heat. The materials and design are crafted to ensure you stay comfortable no matter the weather.

What is the lead time for building a custom camper?

We process all orders in the order they come in and are ramping up production. Right now, we’re estimating that new orders will be ready for installation by August.

How do I order a customizable truck bed camper?

You can place orders directly on our website, or feel free to contact our team if you prefer assistance.

What does the order process look like?

We’ve broken down the process into 3 basic steps: Design Your Camper, Confirm Your Build, and Schedule Installation. Here’s an in-depth look at each stage:

Step 1: Design Your Camper

  • Order Placement: Once your order is placed, your spot in the queue is reserved.

Step 2: Confirm Your Build

  • Confirmation Call: About 4-6 weeks before your camper is estimated to be ready, we’ll reach out for a confirmation call.
  • Payment: Final payment and approval is due after the confirmation call to move forward with production.
  • Production: After the final invoice is paid, your camper will move into production, which is estimated to take a short 4-6 weeks.

Step 3: Schedule Installation

  • Installation Scheduling: Once your camper is complete, we’ll send you a calendar invite to schedule your installation.
  • Camper Hold: Our goal is to have campers picked up within 6 weeks after the installation invite is sent.
  • Install Location: Installation at our Wenatchee, WA location with our team is free of charge.
  • Shipping Options: For customers outside the installation area, we offer shipping options that will be discussed during the confirmation call.

What customization options are available?

Our campers are built to order from scratch, allowing you to design your camper exactly how you want it. We offer a wide range of customization options, including:

  • Panel Choices: Our panels are black on one side and white on the other. Choose which side you'd like facing out to match your style.
  • Over 20 Optional Accessories: Select from a variety of accessories to enhance your camper, such as storage solutions, lighting, exterior features, and more.
  • Preset Accessory Locations: While accessory locations are set in the design for optimal functionality, we can add any of our 20+ accessories to best suit your specific needs and preferences.

Whether you want to add functionality or make a statement with unique features, we’ll work with you to create the perfect camper for your adventures.

Can I make changes to my order after placing it?

About a month before your order is set to ship or be installed, our team will reach out to you via email or phone to finalize everything during a confirmation call. We'll confirm your vehicle details and review color and accessory options.

Once the final invoice is paid after this confirmation call, no further changes can be made as your order will have already entered production.

What should I add before or during the confirmation call?

The last opportunity to make changes to your order is during the confirmation call, which takes place about 4 weeks before production begins. Once the confirmation call is complete and the invoice is paid, no further changes can be made to your order.

To future-proof your build against water intrusion and ensure proper functionality, consider adding the following during your initial build:

  • Tall version

  • Roof vent fan

  • Diesel heater port

  • Rear and side lights

  • Solar or light bar ports

  • Windows

Another important consideration is electrical options. The price for electrical items includes full wiring and installation, making it more cost-effective to add them during the confirmation call. Prices will not be adjusted if these items are purchased at a later date.

Other accessories, such as those mounted to the T-track system, can be purchased later and easily shipped to you.

Note: If you choose to add accessories after production begins, there will be a $150/hour shop fee for installation, plus the cost of the accessories.

Can I track my order?

Yes! Once an order is placed, it’s added to our Camper Tracker, which is updated every other Wednesday. Be sure to check it out!

Standard & Tall Versions

Each camper is custom-built to match the specific bed dimensions of your truck. We offer two build options: a standard version for full-size trucks, and for mid-size trucks, we provide both standard and tall versions.

Check out our Standard camper specs:

Check out more on the tall version for mid size trucks here:

Can i make changes after production starts?

Once your camper has entered production and the confirmation call is complete with the invoice paid, any additional modifications will incur a $150/hour shop fee for installation, plus the cost of the accessories. This fee is due to the fact that the camper will need to be pulled from the production line, requiring additional time and manpower to complete the changes and ensure proper installation according to the camper's specifications.

What is included in the price of a camper?

Let's check in with Kyle on this one!

Are there any additional fees for customization?

Every baseline camper starts at $5,995, regardless of bed length. All accessory options have an associated cost for the goods, and also include full wiring and installation into the camper.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment via check, cash, Shop's flexible payment plan through our website, or by paying $5,995 for the baseline camper to hold your place in the queue. You can then add accessories when finalizing your order during the confirmation call

How does the Lone Peak Camper Mount?

Mounting your Lone Peak Camper is simple with our custom-designed mounting system. Here's a quick video overview of the process:

For a more detailed, step-by-step guide, check out our Detailed installation Guide &Wiring Diagrams

How are campers shipped?

Our campers come fully assembled and crated in a custom 10' crate. Installation includes mounting the camper to your vehicle, though wiring from the camper to the vehicle will be the customer’s responsibility after installation. Shipping costs now include a flat-rate installation fee, with the total cost to a certified installer set at $2,000, covering both shipping and installation.

Do you offer international shipping?

At this time, we only offer shipping within the lower 48 United States. Unfortunately, we are unable to process shipments to locations outside of this area due to logistical challenges and the difficulty of ensuring products arrive undamaged. Additionally, we do not accept freight forwarders for pick-up.

How long does shipping take?

Once your camper has successfully passed quality control (QC), the coordination, crating, and shipping process typically takes between 2 to 4 weeks. The exact timeframe may vary depending on the number of campers being shipped at the same time, as well as the destination. Please note that additional time may be required for delivery based on these factors.

What happens if my camper is damaged during shipping?

If your camper is damaged during shipping, it will likely be returned to our headquarters in Washington for inspection by our team. We want to ensure that your camper arrives in perfect condition and meets your expectations.

Checking Torque Specs

Checking the mounting puck torque wrench specs regularly is crucial to ensure the camper is securely and safely mounted to your truck's bed. Torque specs are measured in inch/pounds:

  • Vertical bolt: 75 in/lbs
  • 2 Horizontal bolts: 100 in/lbs

Taking Care of Your Tent

For the best mildew prevention, treat your tent like a ground tent. Pop it up every few weeks to air it out and let it dry. When closing your camper’s tent, be sure to close the tent windows, as the inner vinyl blackout liner is the waterproof layer. Avoid using harsh chemicals or cleaners on the fabric.

When in use in humid conditions, make sure to control condensation by opening the condensation vents just above the two side windows.

Can I leave anything on the bed when closing up the camper?

Given the camper’s design, which folds tightly to an 8" depth, the bed is not intended to have blankets or bulky items stored on top when closed. The maximum compressed depth that works is about 1" of bedding. This means items like pillows, large comforters, or sleeping bags should be avoided.

Tip from Kyle: Using just a sheet and a down comforter is his go-to setup. Additionally, you can use the cargo net to store soft items like blankets, keeping everything in a designated spot when the camper is closed.

Can I store anything on the roof?

The camper’s roof is not designed to support loads, so we do not recommend storing anything directly on it. However, adding load bars is a great option! With 2 load bars, you can safely carry up to 150 pounds. Each additional load bar can support an extra 50 pounds, providing a secure way to carry gear on the roof without putting undue strain on the camper

Can I mount to the side doors?

For mounting to the side doors, you’ll need to attach directly to the door’s brackets, not just the panel. The door panel is made of 4mm aluminum composite, which is durable but cannot support much weight on its own without dimpling. The side doors can hold up to 20 pounds, so make sure to keep the weight manageable.

If you're considering a DIY setup, ensure the mountings are secure and that the modification doesn’t affect the camper’s overall safety or functionality. The gas struts on the door may need to be upgraded to stronger ones, and you should add support where you plan to mount to avoid warping the door over time.

Alternatively, you can mount items to the T-channels along the outside of the camper. These T-channels are designed to handle significant weight, offering a more stable and secure mounting option without the risk of damaging the door.

Please note: Any panels with aftermarket modifications are not covered under warranty.

How do I store my camper during off-seasons?

These campers are truly meant to live on the truck they are built for. However, if you prefer to remvoce it during the off season follow this install guide for the proper process.

How often should I check for wear and tear?

We reccomend popping up the tent seasonally to check for wear.

What's the Deal With the Custom Extrusion Frame?

The 360-degree T-tracks are what truly let you customize your camper! They allow you to mount just about anything, anywhere, as long as it has a hole that an M8 x 12mm bolt can pass through. This gives you endless possibilities for personalizing your setup to fit your needs. Want to see some cool build-outs? Color Customizations

Roof & Door Panel Color Facing Out
The panels we use are black on one side and white on the other. You can choose which side you'd like facing outward. Typically, customers in hotter climates opt for white facing outward for better temperature control. Having white on the inside helps illuminate the camper when the blackout tent windows are closed.

Tent Color
Currently, grey is the only color option we offer in production, and it’s been a fan favorite within the community!
